Is the link working? I can't get it to open.
Will...you should now be able to click on the link and see the power point. Thanks for letting me know.
Congrats Brittany :-)
Congrats to Btitt...I hope you are very happy. Glad to see the flu season is on the decline.
Yeah for Brittany.... so glad to see that discipline is still low and hopefully the flu is gone for the rest of this winter....
Discipline is still doing great for the year keep it up.
Congrats to Brittany!! So happy for you!
Discipline looks good!
Where oh where is the snow!?!
Thanks for the emergency procedure reminders!
Thank you for reminders regarding emergencies/drills, especially the note about the card on the door. The "notes" sections was a good set of reminders as well.
Congrats Brittany :)
Glad to see discipline is done. I will put emergency reminders in my folder. Way to go Ingle!
It's always good to DO discipline.
Not only is discipline done, it is also down.
Thank you for the code red reminders. I printed mine out to put in my folder.
Oops, I thought we just emailed if someone was missing. I'll make a note for next time! Glad to see discipline is still down.
I also thought we only emailed when there is a missing student or if something is wrong. Thanks for the reminder!
Same here! Thanks for the reminder. Congrats to Mrs. Ingle for getting engaged to the quarterback of the Indianapolis Colts! (he looks like him!) lol He's a good guy!
That was what I thought as well, only if we are missing someone. This process is ever-changing, as it should, but the faculty needs to be well-versed/trained in case of these events.
Also, I have not had a "door hanger" in a couple of years. I did not know they were still to be used.
I have corrected my notes about the e-mail during the lock-down. I thought we sent e-mails for missing or extra students.
I was confused about the email too. I didn't realize we had to turn out the lights during a fire drill either. Thank you for the reminders! Congrats to Brittany!
What about students wanting to go to the media center to work on PowerPoint and Word projects for other classes?
Keep them in class unless there is a signed note by an administrator. There are too many students in the halls and other classrooms instead of where they are supposed to be right now. The majority are not working on projects but are telling teachers they are....
I understand; thank you!
Thanks for the quick notes on the lockdown/fire procedures. I think I will put a copy it in my emergency envelope with the cards. Also, by my calculations, we are averaging about 52 faculty absences a month. At the rate, we will not reach our goal. :(
I know. I am hoping we are nearing the end of all the sickness! I am concerned about meeting the goal as well!
Glad to see discipline going down. I have noticed more piercings too. I misunderstood at the faculty meeting about the lock down. I thought we emailed only if we were missing students. Thanks for the straight forward information.
That's what I thought as well.
I feel like that puppy dog. I want snow too!!
Amen, Terri! Congratulations Brittany, Thanks for the reminders on emergency procedures.
Let it SNOW!!
I had planning period during this lockdown drill. Am I to assume that we are also supposed to e-mail even when we are sitting in the dark by ourselves, pondering our own mortality since we don't have students to shush?
I want to be sure you are ok, even if you are by yourself!
So happy for you Ms. Ingle! Thanks for procedure reminder for lockdowns.
Thanks so much everyone! :)
Really appreciated having the emergency procedures reminders on this FF. Learned some things I didn't know prior! Also, I know this has been a rough winter with so many people unwell. Maybe future absences will be due to snow, not illness. ;)
Congratulations Brittany!! I am so happy for you!
Good to see that discipline is way down from the past two years
Yes, the emergency procedure reminders are great to have on hand.
Discipline referrals are still down.
I think everyone misunderstood about the procedure for emailing. Good thing we do drills to straighten out everything!!!
I have been telling students to remove their toboggans and they act as if it is the first time they have heard that!
Congratulations to Brittany Ingle on her engagement. Also, I am very disappointed we haven't had any snow days.
It's a good thing our students are so well behaved being that teacher absences are so high. :)
Do we see Chris for the door tag? I don't have one anymore...
I have also noticed that students are beginning to disregard the facial piercing policy. The snow needs to stay away, baseball has started.
Congratulations Brittany!! Glad to see that our discipline referrals have remained low.
Congrats Brittney!! Glad to see the discipline numbers are staying low.
Brittany AKA "GLENDA THE GOOD WITCH",CONGRATULATONS AND BEST WISHES!
Thanks for all the reminders esp. about the lockdown procedures.
I was covering another teacher's class and couldn't send an email from my phone-made me think "what should a substitute do especially if they didn't have a computer they could log on to or they were like me and couldn't get their phone to connect?
Anyway, I do need a SNOW DAY !!! : )
Great that discipline referrals are still down, wonder how that ties in to the hats/piercings etc...
It's good to see that discipline is down from last year but it really increased a lot between Dec. to Jan.
Congrats to Brittany! I loved the Instagram picture. I thought it was so "you!" I needed drill reminders as well, and I feel very much like the puppy. Where's the snow?!
Congrats to Brittny!!
Congratulations to Ms. Ingle!! Discipline is doing great! I also need a tag for my door. Didn't know we were supposed to hang one, so thanks for the info. as well.
I am so glad for the emergency procedure reminder list and I agree...Where is that snow?!?
I have addressed some facial piercings myself. Work places usually have strict rules regarding piercings. Students need to know that life has rules and they are not imposed upon them to try to make them miserable. Congrats to Brittany!!
Students do not seem to understand about the dangers of the piercings. They don't realize what might happen to them if it gets caught in a machine what can happen to them!
Congrats, Brittany! It's just got to snow! I feel as if I have single-handedly sent our sick numbers out of the roof this year! I've always depended on my meanness to keep me well, but this year has been especially hard on me sickness - wise. I know that is true of others as well.
