Students missing less than 5 day is looking great so far. Hopefully we will all continue to be healthy for the remainder of the year.

Wonder what's up with faculty attendance? I thought the emerald tickets would help. Oh well...

Remember these kids share: drinks, food, lip balm, coughs, sneezes, etc.

It takes 6 emerald tickets to gain that precious day off. I wonder how many have been used.

I'm pretty sure there is a link between certified absences and discipline issues. I know my kids tend to lose their mind when I'm out. Hoping for a healthy 2016!

It is disappointing to see the rise in discipline, but as was mentioned in an earlier post...these 9th graders are a lot BOLDER than the last previous years. It could also be due to the STEM closing.

I think some of the kids we would have had at the STEM who are here now are contributing to some of the increase in (1) number of kids, (2) attendance issues, and (3) discipline referrals.

I'm sure the rise in discipline referrals is due to the rise in student number in combination with the STEM closing. I am looking forward to the Christmas assembly this year. I hope the illness stays away and we can actually have it as scheduled this year!

I think it would be safe to say that the increase in numbers and the STEM closing has been reasons that discipline has increased. Looking forward to the Christmas Party.

Hate to see how high the certified attendance has been! I feel that the students missing more than 5 days continues to be the same couple students continuing to miss days.

Need to have subs. Teacher attendance is not good but sometimes can not be helped. Too many teachers giving up planning time to cover classes. I would rather have subs than tickets!! Maybe our CO will help us out soon!!!

Please do not blindfold Coach Dotson at the assembly this year ... welllll, on second thought ... also, I have thought about that STEM connection with regards to discipline and there may be something to that; it's like breaking a wild horse with some of these freshmen. Lastly, an Ebay sister company, emeraldticket.com, will hopefully be up and running soon ...
