Yeah. That resource stuff really makes it easier to expand my starters & summarizing activities. Already trying out a few like anticipation guides and I wanna find a way to add the snowball fights in (hard to fit in a science class, but I can figure a way, eventually).

Zach...Anticipation guides are a great activating strategy. Comment and let me know how the snowball fight goes.

O.K., I'm lost, as usual! Where do we comment to Mrs. Linder's powerpoint? Is it up yet? Thanks!

I like the Analogy Prompt on p.15. I could see combining it with the Bridge Map as a formative assessment that would be quick and easy to check.

I've been entertaining the inside-outside circle as a quiz/exam review for awhile. Maybe after Thanksgiving.

I like the idea of 4 corners. This allows students to self assess their expertise on the subject. After they self assess, I can differentiate according to their knowledge.

I think some of the activating strategies will be helpful, especially questions to the teacher on page # 4 and learning logs on page #5. I have used word sort on page 19 and plan to use it more.
