This is good news for students who haven't been able to pass the GHSGT & GA Writing test!! We are going to create a plan for those students. We all know that writing is still a significant component of literacy, and it will still be a part of the Milestones. Our focus and emphasis on writing does not need to change.

I didn't think that I had last years TKES student survey results, but I searched through email and found them. The comparison is listed below: 2015 results are in BLUE & the 2014 results are in GREEN
A great amount of growth in ALL areas!! Way to Go!! To find your report:
Reminders:
The student survey focused on the following TKES standards: The mean of all the teachers' scores is to the right of the standard.
The survey results can be interpreted as follows: 2.5+ = Level IV, 2.0-2.4 = Level III, 1.5-1.9 = Level II, 1.4 & below = I Our highest score was in Positive Learning Environment - same as last year Our lowest score was in Differentiation - same as last year *Make sure you print out your student survey results & place them in your portfolio* These are great results! Everyone should be proud! We have come so far with differentiation! Let's keep up the good work! It's always busy, but it's especially busy this time of the year. I wanted to make sure that you are aware of the current surveys you are required to complete.

It is time to administer the 2nd TKES student survey. We don't have a lot of time to accomplish this - I apologize! Below is what you need to know to survey a 2nd class of your choice.
Surveys will not take more than 10-15 minutes - You can schedule to administer your survey the 1st or 2nd half of a class period. Dates to administer surveys: March 6, 9, 11, 12, 13 (do not wait to the last minute)
Welcome back...finally! I hope everyone enjoyed the snow.
Every teacher will conduct a peer observation tomorrow. I will meet with the assigned groups in the Professional Learning Room (next door to my office) before & after you conduct your observation. Things to know:
