There are several Coordinate Algebra resources I found beneficial! I found links to several websites that had interesting activities. I hope they continue to add more, there are not as many as I had hoped for.

I hope that they add more as well! How do you think the TRL compares to NetTrekker?

I think that NetTrekker has more resources than TRL- in the Coordinate Algebra aspect. I do like that you can pick one specific standard on TRL rather than a topic. I think that NetTrekker will be more useful for me.

Glad to hear NetTrekker will be that useful as a resource! Thanks for the feedback.

The resources will help me help students since I cover so many different different subjects in my Odyssey classes.

Kristle...It is nice to have resources for all subjects available. Let me know if you use something you found on TRL.

I am hoping for some resource materials soon for the Physical Education department. However, the SLDS training itself was very helpful.

I'm really hoping that they add resources for Physical Education, Music, Art, Foreign Language. They can't forget about all of you!

I actually found links to some of the same activities that I already use with Hamlet.

I found that the lessons were from ALEX and were helpful. I also like that you can review them.

I love the fact that they use teacher input to keep or discard activities! Who better to make that decision! I hope everyone of our teachers review the resources you find. Each of you are experts in your contents!

Will...I asked Brittney this question - how do you think TRL compares to NetTrekker?

It seemed fairly comparable. But TRL seems a bit more limited on how you can search it. I couldn't find a way to search specifically for British lit resources, and it didn't distinguish its results between British, American, and world lit.

Well it's good to know it's a resource, but I'm definitely glad we have NetTrekker based on your and Brittney's feedback.

The resources for Analytic Geometry were somewhat jumbled as far as the categories/units they were in, but there were some interesting activities. I like that you can save the resources you like so you don't have to search for them again.

Anita...At least they have some useful activities. I also like that you can save what you find. If any teachers find something useful, share what you used!

I noticed there were several poetry writing ideas for my freshmen that included several of the standards at once.

There are a lot of good resources for the students and the teachers on there. I am looking forward to pulling some of those resources to use with my Resource classes when they are struggling or Math Suppport classes. I like that you don't have to sort through the whole internet and decifer what is good and what is bad.

I'm excited to hear that you are using these resources in your resource classes! Be on the lookout for a post introducing NetTrekker - it will be a search engine that will save you time while you search.

The information found on SLDS was must more helpful than I thought. The training from yesterday was much needed and helped to see the advantage of SLDS and how it can provide many ideas for instruction.

There is so much pressure put on CTAE, Fine Arts/Foreign Lang., PE, teachers to include reading, writing, etc... you would think there would be more resources. Hopefully soon! Let me know if you find them when you check back.

I like how you can look for any grade level, other than the ones you teach. I have had several students from last year ask for help. This way we can provide them with resources as well as their classroom teacher.

Matt...that is an excellent point! Great way to help last year students or use to differentiate in your room. I'm sure your students will appreciate your efforts to help them.

I like how I can go to other grades for biology resources. For example, there are more activities in 7th grade than there are for 9-12 in my subject. I still need to explore more :-)

I liked the way they had the standards set up where you could click on the resources but the business classes resources were not uploaded yet. I am sure they will be in the future. I was sitting next to Melissa Adams and it looked like she had numerous options for her classes. It will be really helpful when they get mine up and running. I will keep checking!
