I enjoyed seeing how other content areas use direct questioning and also to see different strategies for differentiation.

I like observing other teachers and appreciate the experience. It was nice to see cross-curricular tie-ins and activating prior knowledge.

Dr. Terry posted a great resource this week that I have used in the past to enhance PowerPoint presentations. Nearpod can be used to transform an existing PowerPoint into an extremely engaging presentation with built in assessments and immediate feedback. It is super easy to use, but does require students to use computers/iPads/tablets. It will work on smartphones too.

Not just through these peer observations, although the Teacher I observed was doing A LOT of great things, but everyday I see our staff doing amazing things and pouring all they've got and then some into Teaching, Coaching, Advising, etc. That kind of effort on out part could be life-changing for some of these students, and I'm awfully proud to be a part of that kind of work with some of the best around.

I observed a creative lesson that gave me some ideas to use in class. I have heard several teachers discussing ideas they got from observing another teacher.

I really enjoyed seeing how the teacher I observed modified PALS and used it.
