The discipline is probably tied in with how many teachers have been out sick lately. I know I can't seem to get better this year.

Graduation Rate is awesome! I know I contributed to the certified absences in October. :( but life just happens sometimes.

I think obviously the most important set of numbers is the graduation rate at 98.8%. The fact that our students miss many days and want to give up and we still have the 2nd highest percent in the state is something to be VERY proud of.

I'd say it was our new crop of freshman running up the discipline numbers, but 4 out of 3 people are not good at math.

The freshmen are a handful this year and I'm sure that's not helping with discipline. 98% is AWESOME though!

If our student body has increased in number this year, that could account for the increase in discipline referrals, since it is a raw number and not a percentage.

So proud of the graduation rate. I do hate to see the increase in the discipline referrals, but I agree with Coach Dotson...9th graders are a little "different".

Graduation Rate news was great to hear. Sorry to see certified absences up in October, lots of illnesses were going around. Discipline was higher, but do we have more students this year? That could be part of the cause.

Great job MCHS Teachers. In an area with our demographics, I don't believe that graduation rate happens without a bunch of phenomenal teachers all over our school putting in the work, and work, and then a little more work.
