I have used my document camera to have students take pictures of their work on the mini whiteboards. Students love using the whiteboards and then I can grade their work!

I have never figured out why they feel like they aren't "working" when they use the whiteboards! Having them take a picture for grading is a great idea, and I am going to steal it! :)

I use my document camera to show how to use the calculators. For the last few days, I have been using it to guide my Analytic Geometry students through different geometric constructions.

Brittney & Anita...Both of those are excellent ideas! You should share them in your next Math Department meeting.

I love this list! I have been using my camera to show examples of documents, show examples of how things need to be done, review for testing and much more.

I put a sight-singing example on the board so that I could point to certain features as the students were looking at the same example on paper. The image on the smartboard is difficult to see because of the lighting in my room, esp coming through the windows.

Deb...I'm sure that helps a lot when trying to explain how to do certain procedures for your healthcare classes.
